I have Canon PowerShot A570 and I love it. It is a fantastic cemera. It will run you anywhere from 99.00 to 149.00. Look in Sunday's paper and compare prices. Some places can offer a discount. I paid 179.00 for mine, but it was when it was new on the market. I do not think you would be dissatisfied with the Canon PowerShot A570. My sister just brought one, and she loves her so well.
