Is Nikon D5000, or Nikon D90 right for me?
I've always been into photography, photo editing and graphic design. I recently decided to take my interest to the next level and buy a DSLR. My plan is to learn the camera I choose the front and back; take digital art classes and workshops with professional photographers. I will start taking pictures for fun, family and friends, vacations and holidays. My goal will be to eventually reverse my fun hobby into a professional career. I'm interested in both Nikon D5000 and Nikon D90. I held both cameras at our local Best Buy. I really like the feel of D5000, it is lighter and more compact. At D90 has multiple functions, so it is slightly thicker. I am also somewhat worried that if I choose the D5000 that I grow out of it too quickly. Price is not an issue. Tell me a little about each camera, good and bad. Help me decide which Nikon camera is right for me? Any other suggestions may also be useful.
D90 is clearly better camera. If you can afford either one and just do not know which one to get, the D90 is more secure option and is a bit more future proof.
