Surveillance cameras are battery powered or have backup Power available will continue to work even when the entire work suffers from power shortages.
Storage Capacity
Last but not least, make sure to monitor how the camera is able to store that recording. Can you use any memory cards or USB flash disk with it? Without reliable storage capacity, recordings from your surveillance camera could be accidentally deleted permanently.
