Best 35mm Camera
Many of you would certainly want to keep old and happy memories captured on film. At least when you have digital and physical copies of these unforgettable moments, you can always go through them now and then and show them to your children and grandchildren later that you share with them the story behind these pictures.
If you care to use film and slides, it would benefit you much to get your own dedicated 35mm slide scanner. But this leads you to the next question which is "What brand should I buy?"
Different brands, types and models of slide scanners on the market today. There are basically two types - the multifunctional flatbed scanner and the dedicated 35mm slide scanner. Whereas a dedicated slide scanner is designed to slides and film only.
Brands you can choose include Polaroid, Epson, Nikon, HP, Kodak, Microtek, Minolta , Leaf and Olympus. Different models are available with prices from mid-range for the high end depending on your needs. It will not help you factor in just one aspect, such as price or brand. Keep in mind not to sacrifice quality over price, because it is not a good way to get the most ideal product for you.
But if you are printing and publishing industry, which will require you to scan large volumes of film and slides, then invest in a high-end scanner is the right choice. Higher resolution means high quality pictures, then do not take this aspect for granted.
You'll need to install it on your computer before you can use your dedicated scanner.
Find out which best suits you and shop around on the Internet before deciding on what and where you can buy.
Nikon CoolScan has a number of models (2000, 4000, 5000), which received good reviews. The super cool scan model is highly recommended because of its high optical density.
It has precise and sharp colors and shadow detail. There is also a Konica Minolta QuickScan is a dedicated film and slide scanner.
Hewlett Packard's Scanjet flatbed, an all in one scanner. It scans not only film and slides, but documents.
Epson and Microtek also produces flatbed scanners in different models, sizes and prices.
Remember that the main advantage of a dedicated scanner is its small, compact size and light weight. Flatbed type is larger in size and carries more weight. So be sure to consider these things too.

Canon Rebel XSI W/17-85 USM (BLACK) Price is $ 1279.99CAD http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ItemsDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&departmentId=10404&categoryId=10429&itemID=236862 And CANON D-REBEL XSI w / 18-55 IS BLACK $ 799.99CAD http://www.henrys.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ItemsDisplay?storeId=10001&catalogId=10001&departmentId=10404&categoryId=10429&itemID=233858 I would like a Explaination for since I've done photogrpahy for about a year now and would like to start going proffessional. I was before using a pentax film camera 35 mm lens so I know the basics. Thankyou!
These prices are terrible. You can get the kit with 18-55 refurbished through Adorama for only $ 550. I've bought a lot of refurbished stuff through Adorama and it has always been excellent. I've got 17-85 IS USM. It's a nice lens, but 18-55 is not bad. I've talked several friends into 18-55 kit and 50mm f1.8 prime. At around $ 80, is that by far the best lens bargain out there.
Take great vacation photos as ghosts and goblins gather for All Hallow's Eve today, a season of holidays and gathering of family and friends begin.

Fisheye 2 35mm Camera $69.99 Lomography Fisheye 2 35mm Camera FeaturesNothing But The Good StuffAs any cocktail slinger, bashful barfly, or hard-partier knows, a drink is only as good as the stuff that goes into it. When we say that the sexy item in your hands is the best compact fisheye camera ever conceived, we mean it! Here's your proof. The world's greatest compact Fisheye camera is now more amazing than you ever thought possible! Not only does it have same 170-degree wide-angle view and stunning fisheye barrel distortion, but the Fisheye No. 2 adds a bulb setting for long exposures, a switch for multiple exposures on the same frame, the ability to fire both a hotshoe flash and the built-in flash, a true fisheye viewfinder, and a "full metal jacket" body treatment. With this new arsenal, the possibilities for your Fisheye lomography are endless! Uses normal 35mm film that can be developed anywhere. “B” (Bulb) settingIn response to heavy demand from the Lomographic Community at large, the Fisheye 2 has a slamming long-exposure setting. By holding down the shutter button with your finger, you can keep the shutter open for as long as you like – thereby inviting all the gorgeous ambient light outside to come on in. To close the shutter, merely release the button. When using 400ISO film, keeping the shutter open for about 1-3 seconds is usually enough for a nightime city shot. Extend that to 5 seconds or so for a streaky overexposure. If it's really dark out, then let the shutter go for 10-20 seconds. For the sharpest images, place your camera onto something sturdy. Given the Fisheye 2's super-wide-angle view, handheld shots can be pretty sharp too – as long as you hold still. For buckwild abstracts – move you camera around with the shutter open – or even twist it in a circle!Multiple Exposure Switch (MX)This allows you to take two or more shots on the same frame. Take your first shot, press the MX button, and you're now ready for the next one. Repeat as many times as you like. Full Metal JacketIf those rowdy bikers are giving you a hard time, then just show ‘em the Fisheye 2's new hard-as-nails metal-plated exterior. Built for toughness, but refined for beauty – you'll feel equally comfortable slinging your camera at a Texas Hog Pit or a Parisian Debutante Ball.170-degree Field Of ViewThe heart, soul, and blood of the Fisheye's brilliance: an enormous field of view that takes in literally half of the world around you and compacts it into a nice and tight circular image. Barrel distortions twist and bend your subjects around the edges, stretch them towards and away from your lens, and converge their lines towards the center. See for yourself - the effect is simply stunning.“LNB” Variable Exposure SwitchUse this to control your Fisheye 2's shutter timing. “L” locks the shutter so it can't accidentally fire. “N” shoots a normal, instant exposure (1/100 sec, f/8). “B” or “bulb” selects F |
