Sony has introduced two new W series Cyber-shot digital cameras DSC W180 and DSC W190. This comes with ultra-sleek design and both These cameras offer Face advance features Smile Shutter, Detection, Digital SteadyShot and automatic optimization of image. Sony DSC-W190 is equipped with CyperShot 1/2.33 Super HAD CCD sensor and provides 12.1 mega pixel resolution. The W180 camera has 10 megapixel resolution. DSC W-190 has 18x smart zoom and 3x optical zoom, and it offers 145 minutes of battery life. Furthermore, this camera offers Face Detection technology can recognize up to eight faces. An advanced Digital SteadyShot technology helps reduce blur caused due of camera shake. This SteadyShot technology is also able to take two pictures in quick succession.
The Sony CyperShot DSC-W190 camera has 7 pre-programmed scene modes like Twilight, High Sensitivity, Landscape, Twilight Portrait, Snow, Soft Snap, and beach. This camera comes with 2.7 inch LCD display with brushed metal chassis. It also supports HD recording at 30 frames per second with 1280 x 720 pixels. Mini-DV rewinder or cheap camera for playback?
I'm trying to add wear and tear on my camera to get either a rewinder or a cheap mini-DV camera to rewind and catch up through. I have a Sony FX7 is HD, and wonder if a non HD camera to play back data at full size and quality. I just use my tape again so it is still a chance of losing quality and destroy the tape through a rewinder. Thank you.
How much tape you through? I have over 300 miniDV tapes from the last several years and have rewound tapes and imported video (in many cases several times) to your computer for editing using my HDR-HC1 and HDR-FX1. I have had to use a head cleaner tape two times when the LCD panel message asking me. The "wear" is minimal - unless you abuse the mechanism by running the cleaning tape when it is not necessary. You have a greater chance of dropping the camcorder and the harmful than wearing head out - unless you take up / back / import / reverse many, many hours per day, 24/7/365. A non-HDV, miniDV tape based camcorder can rewind tape, but will not be able to play the tapes. A non-HDV camcorder can not understand HDV stream.
