I bought the SX20 simply because I had great luck with The SX10. I shoot all kinds of things with all kinds of cameras. I am a driver photographer who shoots for advertising and corporate customers and create illustrations or photos to my personal books on photography. Over the last two years I have been using little cameras such as Canon G10 and SX10 also for extra and a lot more of my work. Within the studio, create shooting photos or tiny things these cameras luster because of their easy exploit Bo Show, and increased depth of field. When I bought the SX ten it had been for the long range of the zoom lens, which meant I could shoot anything from construction site tight pictures from the hut of the best in design cranes. I have taken some portraits with studio lights and a SX10 plus they have also quite useful. I wish SX 10 and SX 20 had raw file capability, but they do not. There just suggesting I have to pay anything extra careful with WB and exposure. I have used the SX10 at outdoor swimming meet, and found that the lens performs better than expected right off the end.

So why the SX 20 ? Recently I have been asked to do more and more little snippets of the movie for customers and for my publisher and while I am keen on performing SX10 I wanted true HD video to situations as a healthcare practice has prompted movie on both their website and the energy position and other uses. I wanted extra detail to the situations they use clips projected presentations.

I've invested a couple of days to test SX 10 together with the results are incredible, really very good. The front-mounted microphones is really huge outstanding plus the sound for most applications is really acceptable. Would I want a mike input? You bet! Is it acidic offer? Not inside at least.

The image quality the stills are just as outstanding on the grounds that the SX 10 at low ISO's and about 1 / 2 a stop over at 200 and 400 I would chalk that up to the new DIGIC processor.

These days customers are far more interested in recruiting illustrations or photographs and films in a wide range of multimedia together with the SX 20 is truly a wonderful device for something that is moving into the Internet. I still personally standard DLSR cameras and use them, but left to my own products, I find it more compact sensor cameras to be highly competent and very useful.

With an SX20 and a G10 I feel I can handle almost everything except images that require narrow depth of field. This camera is often a cost effective way to get your feet wet, uncover your way around and get your feet wet. I love it.
